Pegasus XL... A Scratch Build

The Pegasus XL is such a great design. It's launched from the belly of a jet and carries satellites into space. Not a new concept... but a very cool concept.

This version is based on a BT/C-204 body, has a 29mm motor, and a rear eject spool.

2026-07-07 How about a two stager.... I mean the real thing is a two stager.

Used some canted fins on the rear of the sustainer, to attempt some stability of the 2nd stage... then using a Quick Fuse in the 2nd stage to light the BP motor from the composite motor.
Those second stage fins in the simulation aren't really there in the actual model... they are used to make that stage stable in the simulation.
