Aero Fin Broadhead... BT-80H Upscale

Here's a scratch build upscale that was designed starting with an Estes 1390 Aero Fin. I actually built this rocket back in 1983, for my nephew.

This one is upscaled to a BT-80H and shortened. The Nose Cone is Redwood and more of a Der Red Max shape.​

3/8" Pine Dowels were added running from the Nose Cone to the fin tips. The shape reminded me of something... so I searched the Internet and discovered the shape was similar to an arrow used for hunting, known as a "Broad-head".​

Motors are 29mm, and it's a rear eject.​

Added a front tip and canted the fins 5 degrees. Which makes everything tastefully chaotic.​

I may try "sculpting" the front tip such that it has (5) actual leading edges, to match the number of fins.​
