The Warthog: A Sci-Fi Take On The A-10

 

Here's a Sci-Fi take on the A-10 Fighter.

This one has no wings, and for armament "only" uses it's 30mm cannon.​

The ejection charge from the motor is routed up through the perforated motor tube, and ejects dual parachutes out the back of the upper tubes.​

​

It has a lower oval half tube to carry an altimeter, which doubles as a drag maker, to counteract the upper drag from the closed tubes.​

Let the build begin..... headed out to the barn to make a nose cone.

Turned the nose from a couple of previously glued together 2 x 4's.​
