The Warthog: A Sci-Fi Take On The A-10
Here's a Sci-Fi take on the A-10 Fighter.
This one has no wings, and for armament "only" uses it's 30mm cannon.
The
ejection charge from the motor is routed up through the perforated
motor tube, and ejects dual parachutes out the back of the upper tubes.
It
has a lower oval half tube to carry an altimeter, which doubles as a
drag maker, to counteract the upper drag from the closed tubes.

Started gluing the parts to the various Sub-Assy's. Used the Fin Alignment guide I made for my very 1st BAR rocket, X-Wing Alpha, back in 2018
Vertical Stabilizers
Modified the Vert Stabilizers by drilling
some 3/8" diameter holes with a Forstner bit, then cleaned up the holes
with a wood chisel. This made a slot for insertion of the Vert
Stabilizers over the Wing Tips. Started gluing them... fillets to
follow.

Did three stability swing tests of the A-10 Thunderbolt... all were successful.
Also cut and glued the 3/8" Dowel into the Nose Cone as the 30mm Cannon.
